Metal
I enjoy spending time with my plasma cutter, acetylene torch & homemade forge.
A prop sword I made 4 years ago that has become wildly popular
Wall mounted Octopus that I pulled the legs out into 3D on. Great place to hang items for wall display.
A little fella I made during some down time around the shop.
This all metal lantern displays a dragon hook handle and a different creature on each of its four sides.
This fire pit was a custom order and was made with reclaimed materials.
I have made a few different compounds from ball bearings. Many lend themselves to being wall mounted, but look great on a table or shelf for display as well.
Hammering out these designs by hand feels a bit like time travel. It is a fun and rewarding work.
This bottle opener is made from a railway spike. Your beverage of choice is not included.
These free flowing trees are born of hand sketches. Each one varies in size, shape and complexity depending on my mood. They can be designed to suit more specific needs.
These knives are one of a kind regular winter projects for me. I have a bucket of salvaged rail ties and when cold weather comes around I toss a tie in the wood stove and set to work. I hammer them out here and there as I work on other projects.
Nessi started out as a winged dragon in my mind. However as things progressed she evolved some flippers and took to water. Nessi is an exercise in course work with ball peen hammer and some tig welding 22 gage mild steel with round blue steel eyes.
My wife designed these for Soroptimist of Pasco-Kennewick and used them to raise funds for scholarships.
Wood
Would you believe I have an affinity for wood as well.
This Black Walnut and Metal Sign is made from a dead standing tree I cut down a few summers ago. It has been fun to work with the wood and make a sign for a local business.
This mini heart brand was a custom request and pretty fun to stamp wood with.
I occasionally take my wares on the road and this is part of the display I created to show them.
This knife is made from a leaf spring and black walnut.
This honeycomb shelf has lots of sweet spots to display mini figures or collectibles.
This piece of Black Walnut has a lot of great detail and I did not want those details to be lost in large piece so I decided to make a pipe.
Mixed Media
Not many things are more satisfying than the exploration of different materials.

You can always use an extra hand or eight around the house. Hand sketched and cut out of mild steel with the plasma cutter. These legs are then twisted out to project enough to hang small items.
This knife was hand forged and polished. The handle is black walnut from a dead standing tree that I cut down a few years ago.
Lincoln Inspired Metal Top Hat. It is a fun and rewarding work, albeit a bit heavy to wear.
A good challenge to stay sharp in delicate work with heavy tools. The butterfly was cut out with a plasma torch and it's little body was forged from a bolt.

Oddly enough, this is it. To see more check out my works in progress.
Cool Finds & Oddies
A bit of elbow grease, new glass and a wick and its alive.
Someone thought this grinder was done for, but with a little TLC and some paint its working great.
Sometimes a tie is all you need to bring things together.
Welded together some flat plate and spent some time with the grinder.
My first go at a reasonable metal work setup.
We all have our vices and this is mine. I have made a few changes but it a vice I cannot shake.
